Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe to Commence Construction of Taunton Casino in 2016
Tribal leaders revealed on Saturday that the Mashpee Wampanoag tribe will commence construction work on its planned $500-million casino in Taunton within the spring of 2016.
The tribe, that will be 1 of 2 federally recognized tribes in Massachusetts, is to build its location on industrial land into the part that is eastern of city.
